You can order JAS and Schiphol Flex easily online. What do you need when ordering?

• A valid personal public transport chip card;
• A company card or employer's certificate.

With JAS, you travel outside the Schiphol area on balance. Would you like to be able to pay afterwards? Then order Schiphol Flex. Please have your account number and the login code or your bank's log-in device ready. You will receive one clear monthly invoice for your public transport costs outside of the Schiphol area. You pay this invoice by direct debit. When you place your order, you authorise Connexxion to make the direct debit payment.

Are you transferring to Schiphol Flex with your personal OV-chipkaart? Then the balance remaining on that card will automatically be deducted from your Schiphol Flex invoice. You no longer need the balance: with Schiphol Flex all your public transport trips outside the Schiphol area will be invoiced afterwards.

The following applies to both:

• Free unlimited travel within Schiphol using the Schiphol bus network and R-net buses within the Schiphol area;
• Balance is required to travel outside the Schiphol area;
• Valid for one year from the effective date.

Schiphol Flex functions in the same way as the Schiphol Annual Pass, but offers you the option of paying once a month in stead of during every trip:

• Schiphol Flex allows you to travel on bus, train, streetcar and metro throughout the Netherlands without having to use your credit balance;
• You will receive a monthly invoice for travel outside the Schiphol area;
• You pay afterwards;
• You can arrange everything easily online.

Yes, you can. To do so, first stop all Flex products in your account. To do so, go to your account. There are three products (Schiphol Flex, Transdev Flex Bus Tram Metro and Transdev Flex Train) you need to deactivate. Click on 'Stop' for all three products. Load your PT-card on the side of the bus or at a service point to complete the termination. You can sign up for JAS now.

To use JAS or Schiphol Flex, you must be 18 years of age or older.

To be able to travel with Schiphol Flex you no longer need to load balance on your OV-chipkaart. All journeys you make with public transport outside of the Schiphol area, you pay afterwards with one monthly invoice.

Do you use JAS? Then you pay the full public transport fare for your trips outside the Schiphol area. These trips are immediately charged to your OV-chipkaart. That is why you need to make sure your OV-chipkaart is loaded with balance when you use JAS.

With Schiphol Flex, you can also travel outside the Schiphol area without a balance on your card. These costs will be charged to you afterwards. You always have online insight into your costs. In your personal overview you can see which trips you have made and what the costs are. These costs can of course also be found on the monthly digital invoice.

There's a "Service" button behind every ride in your personal overview. If you click this button, you can indicate the price you think it should have been and the reason for the request. This is why you issue a digital mandate via your own bank. During the application process, you will be redirected to the online environment of your bank. If you use a special login code to log in to your bank, it is useful to keep this code handy when you order Schiphol Flex.  

No, unfortunately ING only supports confirmation via the TAN code for the digital mandate. For more information, please refer to ING's customer service.

Yes, you can. If you have NS Flex or GVB Flex on your personal OV-chipkaart, it is important that the balance of your OV-chipkaart is at least € 0.00 before you put Schiphol Flex on your OV-chipkaart.

This is possible, but the discount subscription will unfortunately no longer work. The discount subscriptions include Altijd Korting, ZWAM Dal Voordeel, Dal Voordeel Oost and Dalkorting Brabant.

You can also use Schiphol Flex outside the Schiphol area and with other carriers. Your card is valid in the bus, train, tram, metro and in AML Flex. You can travel with all public transport companies throughout the Netherlands. If you don't want to travel by public transport, you can also take a shared bike with Schiphol Flex.

You will receive an invoice once a month for all of these trips outside the Schiphol area. The costs will be debited to your account each month.
