Once your online order has been processed you will receive an e-mail with the date on which you can add the season ticket to your OV-chipkaart. You will only be able to travel on your card once the Schiphol Annual Pass or Schiphol Flex has been 'loaded' onto your card from the starting date.
Please note: the yellow charging stations at Schiphol have been removed. You can place your order online and then pick it up at a pick-up point on the side of the bus. You can also find the nearest charging point in your area using the service point locator. -
Both must be renewed annually. The day after your annual subscription expires, you can reactivate the annual Schiphol subscription in your account. For Schiphol Flex this is the separate 'Schiphol Flex' subscription that is available in your account. You can then pick it up directly at a pick-up point, which you can also find on the side of our buses next to the front boarding door.

You can check your status in your account. In the red box, you can see the service you are purchasing (Schiphol Flex or Jaarabonnement Schiphol, or 'JAS'). Below this you can see the status of your order. The options are:
- Active: Schiphol Flex or JAS is active on your OV-chipkaart
- Order can be picked up: The order must be picked up from a collection machine
- Termination can be retrieved: The termination can be collected from a collection machine
- Inactive: Schiphol Flex or JAS is not on your OV-chipkaart
-
Are you transferring to Schiphol Flex with your personal OV-chipkaart? Then the balance remaining on that card will automatically be deducted from your Schiphol Flex invoice. You no longer need the balance: with Schiphol Flex all your public transport trips outside the Schiphol area will be invoiced afterwards.
