Varying fares

The boarding fare for the bus is usually € 4 or € 6. This differs in the various travel areas. For certain longer lines, there are exceptions and you pay a higher boarding rate. On this page you will find standard boarding fees per travel area with the exceptions per bus line. Please note! With an increased boarding fare of, say, €8.00, you need to have a balance of at least €4.00 on the card before checking in on these lines.

In addition, the kilometre fare also differs in the various travel areas.

  • The standard boarding fare for the bus is € 6.
  • The kilometre fare in Amstelland-Meerlanden is € 0.198.
  • Night buses have a basic fare € 1.85 and a kilomtre fare of € 0.198.
