Varying fares

Varying fares

The boarding fare for the bus is usually € 4 or € 6. This differs in the various travel areas. For certain longer lines, there are exceptions and you pay a higher boarding rate. On this page you will find standard boarding fees per travel area with the exceptions per bus line. Please note! With an increased boarding fare of, say, €8.00, you need to have a balance of at least €4.00 on the card before checking in on these lines.

The boarding fares apply if you do not check out. If this needs to be corrected, the correct amount can be adjusted at uitcheckgemist.nl (for OV-chipkaart) or OVpay.nl (for debit card/smartphone).

In addition, the kilometre fare also differs in the various travel areas.
