Steam tram Hoorn-Medemblik

With the steam tram you can make a trip from Hoorn to Medemblik. With the steam tram you travel on a local railway track from 1887, past stations Opperdoes, Twisk and Wognum. With bus line 139 you can easily travel back to your starting station.

There's a lot to see and do on the museum compound in Hoorn! Here you can learn everything about the rise and development of the steam tram in the Netherlands. Take a look at the historic tram station, the working signal box and the Bello Atelier. Of course, a ride on the steam tram shoudn't be forgotten. Hop on board!

Please note: In January, February and March (except 29 and 30 March) there will be no services. From April, the Steam Tram will resume its regular schedule.
