Museum Kranenburgh is located in the Noord-Holland village of Bergen. Because of the beautiful natural landscape and the special light, Bergen has always attracted artists. At the beginning of the last century, the first artists came to Bergen and settled in studio apartments. Around 1915, the French painter Henri Le Fauconnier even developed his own recognisable style of painting: the Bergen School.
