Strike 11 June - Amsterdam, Haarlem and Zaanstad region

Trade union FNV has announced a 24-hour public transport strike for Saturday 11 June at Connexxion depots in Amstelland-Meerlanden, Haarlem-IJmond and Zaanstreek. This strike will affect our services.
The employers and unions in the regional transport have been negotiating a new collective labour agreement for some time now. On 4 February, the employers submitted a final offer to the trade unions CNV and FNV. The members of CNV agreed to this final offer, and the employers are pleased with that. FNV has not agreed and is taking action, holding regional 24-hour strikes. A 24-hour strike has been announced for Saturday 11 June at Connexxion depots in Amstelland-Meerlanden, Haarlem-IJmond and Zaanstreek. This strike will affect our services.

This one-day action will cause inconvenience to (groups of) travellers. However, the exact extent of the disruption is not yet clear. More information will follow as soon as possible via this website and our social media channels. Are you travelling by public transport in or around Amsterdam, Haarlem or Zaanstad this Saturday? Please plan your trip as shortly as possible before you leave and keep an eye on this page. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
