Children aged 0 to 4

Children aged 0 to 4 always travel free of charge on Transdev/Connexxion buses. If the bus is busy, please hold these children on your lap. See ‘What can you bring on the bus?’ for information about prams and pushchairs.

Children aged 4 to 11

Children aged 4 to 11 can travel by bus at a reduced rate. In Gooi-en Vechtstreek, children travelling with an adult will receive a free KIDS ticket from the bus driver. (This is not necessary in the HWGO area.) Children travelling alone are entitled to a 34% discount. Read here how to apply for this age-based discount on soldoreizen.

Children aged 4 to 11 travel completely free of charge on buses in the Amstelland Meerlanden, Haarlem-IJmond, North Holland North (including Texel) and Gooi-en Vechtstreek regions. Please ask the bus driver for a free KIDS ticket for each child. A maximum of 4 children may travel free of charge with each accompanying adult.

Children aged 4 to 11 travel completely free of charge on buses in Zeeland. Please ask the bus driver for a free KIDS ticket for each child. Each accompanying adult may travel with up to 4 children free of charge.

Children aged 4 to 11 travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. You do not need to ask the driver for a ticket. However, as a parent or carer, you must be able to prove that the child is under 12 years of age. One adult may travel with up to four children aged 4 to 11.
