The Industrial Heritage Line connects Amsterdam Centraal Station with the Zaanse Schans. A bus departs from bus platform L at the central station every 15 minutes. This bus will take you to:- The NDSM shipyard, one of the world's largest shipyards of the 19th century and now transformed into an 'art city'.
- The centre of Zaandam.
- The Zaanse Schans: discover traditional crafts, mills and houses from the 18th and 19th century.

Would you rather travel directly with the fast connection to the Zaanse Schans? The Express line 891 will take you directly from Amsterdam Central Station to the Zaanse Schans (within 20 minutes).This express service runs during the summer period and some school holidays.
